VIVO is member-supported, open source software and an ontology for representing scholarship. VIVO encourages showcasing the scholarly record, research discovery, expert finding, network analysis, and assessment of research impact.


VIVO is a network of more than 170 institutions in more than 27 countries, implementing VIVO or producing VIVO-compatible data. See the VIVO site registry for a list.


2021 will be our second on-line conference. The VIVO conference has been bringing people together since 2010 to share the latest work in semantic web academic profiles. Whether an experienced user, or just starting out, this is the event to attend.
